About

I was trained in Tabla from a very young age and it instilled in me a tremendous love for rhythm. As I grew up and slowly got introduced to the world of cinema I was thrilled to see how rhythm played an important role in any form of storytelling. This got me very interested in film editing and the subtle craft of storytelling.
I started by assisting in Hindi feature films like Bob Biswas, Anek and Chippa and Netflix web series like Aranyak. I then went on to edit a three part documentary series for Channel News Asia called Crime Science and a four part documentary series for Red Bull Media House called This Is My Hood. I have finished the editing of my first documentary feature film, The Rally Within, which is awaiting release. I also love working on short form narrative films, music videos and commercials.
With time and after having worked on a varied range of films, I have come to thoroughly enjoy editing non-fiction, putting together pieces of life as is. I'm always on the lookout for projects that allow me to express myself that way.
